Christmas morning, time to exchange presents.

Fitting batteries.

Dinner.

Christmas dinner table.

Field of stone.

Irish cattle, very different looking from their Asian counterpart.

Maew did not know what kind of animal this was. First time to see a donkey up close.

A traditional Irish house.

Lonely castle.

Maew at the cliffs of Moher. The first time we visited, in the winter of 1991 there was a storm on it way in, and the wind was so strong that the foam from the waves was being blown up and over the cliffs. She refused to get out of the car, so I promised to take her back some day when the weather was more civilized.

Maew was impressed with finding Thai food on the menu's. Times are changing.

Maew finally found the North Sea

Scottish cattle in Holland. I did not know they still existed.

They look like they were built to stand the cold.

Siún, Émer, Ynte, Eimear and Cathal

Site seeing in Paris. It is a beautifully detailed building, isn't it? The queus were too long to stand in the cold waiting to go inside.

More butiful work.

More of the same. What can you do except take photographs.

Maew liked this painting.

I thought the statues are much more skillful and life-like than many of the paintings. I could not find the dates when they were carved.

Another very life-like statue.

On the outside of the Louvre. We went in through a side entrance, where the queue was much shorter.

Tired of walking, we took a spin in a ferris wheel.
