The first animal we met when entering Mantobeni Camp, Kruger National park. Guess who?

Wildebeest, my first time to see this creature! What a mixture of cow-horse-and donkey!

Our first sunset in the Africa forest, colorful isn't it?

Our first morning drive, a herd of African wild buffalos, the most beautiful buffalo in the world. It is the first big five (the five most dangerious animals to hunt on foot) that we saw when entering the camp.

One of the big five, Rhino, came for us to see on our second day at the camp.

Vultures, many of them were spotted not far from our tent area. The ranger suspected there must be dead animal nearby and these guys are cleaning the carcass.

Good shot of Maew! Who am I can you guess?

Our tent - one of the best because it located in front of the swamp where many animals came for a drink!

Ostrich in the wild, amazing right?

Morning drink for the whole herd of African buffalos. After they left the area, it's our turn to have a morning coffee and a bit of chewing biscuits.

Vestment, A Sepedi tribe or Northern Sotho, our tracker prepared our morning coffee break after a few rounds of drive checking out who's here for us to see.

See, how handsome he is. I'd like to have the Land Rover behind for my field trips in Cambodia. It is strong, able to go on any kind of terrain, and could fit many people.

We had to reverse back to take snapshot of this blue head creature. The more shutter sound he heard, the higher he raised his beautiful turquoise blue head!

The identical long neck creature of Africa! Giraffe.

An Egyptian Goose and a sand piper at the swamp in front of our tent.

Impala, we met them everyday every time we drove out. Garvan said that we should see the hunter because their food is plentiful here. Let's pray for such a chance to see one of them.

Vultures and the dead buffalo. Now we can see how these guys become a useful creature for the wild, not only clean up dead body but also stop the spreading out of deceases.

This is where the tracker (Mr. Vestment) sat at our patrol vehicle. The man with the hat taking photos is Mr. Brett our great ranger who took us through the forest for five days.

One of the big five - African elephant!

May I have a photo with you? The elephant!

When it is a bird - Garvan always quickly spots them. What is this one, Gar? As with the others, it is one of the customers visiting the swamp in front of our tent. (Wolly-necked Stork)

After agreeing to be the backdrop for my photo, he came to visit us at our tent. Wow! How close between us and the wild here!

The tent is simple and has a few pieces of furniture but looks classic and elegant. See how glorious Garvan is!

What is it I got?! A little monkey visiting us while we were resting at our tent.

Should I get closer to the glorious creature sitting on the couch? Asking himself - the monkey.

Better not - I've never see any creature in Mantobeni camp has a stunning pink face like him! But that pink face creature looks interesting - Let me have a look again (Monkey thought)

First he looked like a large stone, second look - Oh! My God - he is Hippo!

I know you are looking at me and I am looking at you two - I am an African Cuckoo ... cute, aren’t I?

I am looking at you too! The Grey Heron communicated to us in one of our afternoon looking from the tent to the swamp.

Ok! You got me Mr. Garvan. I'm shy - says the Zebra!

Are we the same as the one you saw earlier? Hee...Hee. check the stripes

What a beautiful creature! A male African buffalo with armored head gear.

Oops! We meet you again, African elephant! How are you today?

Oh! Look, who is there? The King of the beasts - the Lion!

The side view - look how handsome I am?

Oops! Excuse me please, my private time - Look away, please!

Big ugly birds. Maew saw this buffalo die near our tent. They had to drag her away because of the smell.

A visit to a local community nearby Mentobeni game reserved area, primary class

Feeding time - was not sure is it breakfast or lunch - no spoon!

Northern Sotho tribe - how beautiful she is

School garden for children meals - and here my favorite CHILI plant!!! I asked for a few chilis to try if it is as hot as Thai chili - Wow! Yummy spicy HOT.

Women group brought her products for sale to two tourists who made a visit to their community. I got the tray in the middle for my friend in Cambodia

Lunch is provided - African local food - interesting! The food is not spicy and either salty or no taste. The chili I got is very helpful Oh! Here I ate a WORM - a big real worm, hard to chew but I managed despite my phobia about WORMS!

Lonely Hyena was spotted at Brett's favorite dam

Hyena - taking a sip of water on its way back to the hide

After the wild in Kruger National Park, we return to the civilization in Cape town

A tour around the coast of Cape town, it looks like a giant turtle, doesn't it?

Cape point where East meets West! (Indian and Atlantic oceans). We came on the rainy day so it is difficult to see the meeting point!

You can imagine the nice blue sky and a turquoise ocean on a sunny day.

At the end of the point!

Cape of good hope where the survivors from the wrecked ships landed

On the way back to Cape town, we also visited a small colony of Penguins at Boulder's Beach

How do I look? Penguin at close hand!

Important part of our tour is Wine tasting at a Stellenbosch Wine Estate. This one is our first stop - please note Garvan's face...

Second stop at the winery in Franschhoek

We like this corner of the winery very much and that is the only sunny spot of the day.

A local wisdom, all of the winery will grow roses to observe if the insecticide is needed for the grape plantation behind.

Cable station at the table mountain. Due to bad weather and strong wind the cable car to top was suspended. Next time we will not miss it.

We rented our own car and return to Cape Point again. This time we found our own viewing point.

Very strong wind but nice breath with a beautiful scenic view

An Ostrich at the Capepoint - it looks healthy than those in Kruker National Park!

Young Ostrich. A close look at Capepoint.

A coastal road between Capetown and Capepoint.

Very beautiful mountain scenic view. Mountains along the coast don't seem to have big tree!

A stop for Garvan to stretch his legs after the whole day driving.

Water front tourist spot of Capetown. We ate here the most!
